About The Position
Stryker is offering a Summer 2027 Project Management Internship in California. This internship provides an opportunity for students to contribute to meaningful projects, gain exposure to leaders for mentorship, and experience a culture of innovation and teamwork. Interns will apply classroom knowledge in a fast-paced industry, implement new ideas, develop skills, network with stakeholders, and document complex processes. The role involves supporting New Product Development (NPD) teams and the Project Management Office (PMO) with NPD governance and portfolio execution. Responsibilities include data entry, metrics tracking, resource analysis, portfolio trend reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with program, project, and portfolio managers to enhance tools, workflows, and speed to execution.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
