About The Position

We are looking for interns to build AI systems. The focus is not just on coding, but also on understanding what to build, explaining work effectively, identifying system failures beyond metrics, and demonstrating imagination in problem-solving. This role requires individuals who can both program and think critically.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python for building applications.
Solid understanding of mathematics, including linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
Currently a junior/senior in CS, engineering, math, data science, cybersecurity, MIS, or a similar field, OR a graduate student with a technology focus, OR have completed an accredited accelerated program.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Flexibility to work across technologies and adapt to project needs.
Ability to adjust work hours for global collaboration.

Nice To Haves

Strong writing skills for clear prompts, documentation, and communication.
User-centric approach, considering the end-users and potential issues.
Strong sense of responsibility and awareness of AI ethics.
Ability to frame and define problems effectively.
Proactive and experimental mindset.
AI/ML coursework or side projects.
Technical certifications.
Participation in hackathons, competitions, or conferences.
Leadership roles outside of class.

Responsibilities

Build Agentic AI systems (autonomous agents that reason and act).
Integrate Model Context Protocol to connect AI with external tools and data.
Develop AI interfaces (GUIs for automation tools).
Write production code.
Break and fix systems.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other interns on code reviews, idea generation, and debugging.
Share learnings and contribute to team improvement.
