Project Finance Specialist

ON.energy•Miami, FL

About The Position

The Project Finance Specialist/Chief of Staff to the CIO is a deal-first role supporting ON.energy’s Chief Investment Officer, who oversees the company’s capital formation and deployment, including topco equity and debt, project finance, tax equity and credit transfers, and financing structures for its AI UPS-as-a-Service offering. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on deal execution, including building models, running financing processes, and negotiating, with particular emphasis on project finance for ON.energy’s proprietary AI UPS technology. The remaining 30% involves running the Office of the CIO, setting priorities, preparing board and investor materials, and driving coordination across Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Engineering. The role contributes to financing ON.energy’s multi-gigawatt build-out and helps shape major capital decisions. The position is based in Miami, Florida; New York will be considered, and remote work may be considered for an exceptional candidate. Travel is approximately 25%, including project sites in Texas, investor and lender meetings in New York, and customer meetings with hyperscale and neocloud partners.
