Project Finance Specialist

ON.energy•Miami, FL

About The Position

ON.energy is hiring a deal-focused Project Finance Specialist/Chief of Staff to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO). The role supports the company’s capital formation and deployment, including topco equity and debt, project finance, tax equity and credit transfers, and financing structures for its AI UPS-as-a-Service offering to neocloud and hyperscale customers. Approximately 70% of the role is dedicated to deal execution, including financial modeling, financing processes, and negotiations, with a particular focus on project finance for ON.energy’s proprietary AI UPS technology. The remaining 30% involves running the Office of the CIO by setting priorities, preparing board and investor materials, and coordinating follow-through across Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Engineering. The position is based in Miami, Florida; New York will be considered, and remote work may be considered for an exceptional candidate. Travel is approximately 25%, including trips to project sites in Texas and meetings with investors, lenders, and customers. The role offers exposure to major capital decisions supporting ON.energy’s multi-gigawatt build-out and may also take on evolving special projects, including strategic partnerships and M&A.
