About The Position

At Stapelstein, many things happen simultaneously: product launches, campaigns, trade fairs, and events in various markets. You will be the person who creates a master plan for these activities and actively participates in our events and trade fairs. Routine tasks such as status inquiries, reminders, and reports are increasingly handled by AI agents. What remains is the work that humans do better: judgment, negotiation, collaborative teamwork, and on-site implementation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in project and/or event management, ideally with trade fairs.
  • Confident negotiation skills in German and English with external service providers.
  • Experience with contracts and budget responsibility.
  • Well-structured and hands-on approach: comfortable building a project roadmap and representing Stapelstein on the event floor.
  • Ability to bring clarity to unclear situations and make decisions even when not all information is available.
  • Skill in moderating conflicts between teams and achieving binding commitments without micromanaging.
  • Ability to remain calm and practical when things don't go as planned on-site.
  • Willingness to travel for events and trade fairs.
  • Curiosity about working with AI: formulating requirements clearly, critically reviewing results, and identifying inconsistencies.

Nice To Haves

  • French language skills are a plus.
  • Location in Berlin is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate the plans of all teams into a company-wide Project & Event Roadmap, making conflicts between product launches, campaigns, trade fairs, or events visible early on.
  • Develop clear goals, priorities, and responsibilities from team requests and orchestrate projects to successful completion.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for our events and trade fairs: concept, briefings, shift planning, budget, bookings, logistics, setup, and dismantling.
  • Build up our rental and event equipment so that it can be easily used across markets and locations.
  • Moderate meetings, retrospectives, and translate learnings into even better processes, briefings, planning, and service provider selection.
  • Design AI-supported processes with our project management tool Asana and be responsible for their quality.

Benefits

  • Market-standard, fair salary package.
  • Remote-first policy - within Germany and temporarily from abroad.
  • Flexible working hours with a core time of 9 AM - 12 PM.
  • Overtime fully compensated with time off.
  • Full-time means 36 hours per week.
  • 30 vacation days per year.
  • Monthly team meet-ups in Stuttgart or Berlin.
  • Two inspiring offsites per year.
  • Flexible Benefits such as shopping budget, mobility allowance, or Urban Sports membership (after probation period).
