About The Position

Atwell, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to work on site/civil engineering and land development projects, with a focus on Commercial and Residential Projects. This role involves technical proficiency in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects. The Project Engineer will manage projects from entitlements through construction, process permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies, and implement complex permitting strategies. Additionally, the role requires active participation in company marketing efforts, fostering relationships with clients and agencies, and contributing to the growth of the firm by delivering high-quality projects and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET Accredited University
  • PE Licensure Required
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience

Nice To Haves

  • AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices.
  • Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects.
  • Take projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution.
  • Manage and coordinate various aspects of project development.
  • Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies.
  • Utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process.
  • Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules, ranging from large-scale developments to compact commercial infills.
  • Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance our company's profile and foster relationships with existing and future clients and governmental agencies.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and client satisfaction.
