About The Position

This hiring company is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support all custom residential millwork and cabinetry projects. This role is responsible for creating shop drawings, preparing cutlists, and programming 3-axis panel parts using Cabinet Vision and MasterCAM to ensure accurate and efficient production.

Requirements

• Knowledge of CNC programming for 3-axis
• Experience with Cabinet Vision and MasterCAM software
• Ability to create detailed shop drawings and cutlists for very custom products
• Strong understanding of custom residential millwork and cabinetry production
• Previous experience in custom woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork engineering a BIG Must!
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed shop drawings for custom residential millwork and cabinetry projects
• Coordinate with production and fabrication teams throughout project execution
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical production issues
• Utilize Cabinet Vision for project engineering and design support
• Review project specifications and ensure production accuracy
• Prepare accurate cutlists and production documentation
• Program and optimize 3-axis using MasterCAM
