About The Position
A Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects from start to completion. They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical and quality standards. This role requires the candidate to live in the Little Rock area and is not a remote position.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of engineering principles and project management
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Familiarity with engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.)
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in project management or engineering roles (often 1–5+ years)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Professional certifications (like PMP or PE)
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage engineering projects and activities
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and internal teams
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and project plans
- Prepare submittals and project drawings
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets
- Identify risks and resolve technical issues quickly
- Conduct site visits and inspections
- Prepare reports, documentation, and project updates
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders about project status
