Project Manager/Project Engineer
About The Position
BECI is seeking a Project Manager or Project Engineer to join their team in the Charlotte, NC market. This position is considered local, but out-of-market travel will be required on occasion for training and to support other branches/markets. Previous Building Enclosure experience is a plus, but the company offers training. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys people but functions well independently, thrives on multitasking, has a sense of urgency with attention to detail, enjoys following established processes, and prefers working outdoors over desk work. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (engineering/construction management) or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Building Enclosure experience
- IIBEC credentials (RRC, RRO, RWC, or REWC)
- EIT certificate
Responsibilities
- Assisting with troubleshooting building envelope issues.
- Going onsite to construction sites to provide support and quality analysis.
- Producing reports based on investigations.
- Assisting with the preparation of construction specifications.
- Providing technical support to staff, as required.
- Attending trade shows, seminars and educational programs to keep abreast of industry trends and ensure continued professional development.
