Project Engineer Intern - Water/Wastewater
About The Position
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to work in its corporate office in Sanford, Florida. The intern coordinates with and assists the Project Engineer and Project Manager in planning, organizing, and completing projects within an assigned area of responsibility. The role may include reviewing project plans and contractor bids, supporting daily project management tasks, entering data, and helping maintain a safe and clean working environment. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with and assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with planning, organization, and completion of projects within an assigned area of responsibility.
- Review project plans and confer with management.
- Review bids from contractors.
- Help maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Complete related tasks as needed to contribute to the team effort.
- Perform data entry.
- Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with daily tasks and duties.
