About The Position

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for its regional office in Jacksonville, Florida. The intern coordinates with and assists the Project Engineer and Project Manager in planning, organizing, and completing projects within an assigned area of responsibility. The role may include reviewing project plans and contractor bids, supporting daily project tasks, entering data, and helping maintain a safe and clean work environment by following established procedures, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with and assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with planning, organization, and completion of projects within an assigned area of responsibility.
• Review project plans and confer with management.
• Review bids from contractors.
• Help maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Complete data entry.
• Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with daily tasks and duties.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
