About The Position

Cache Valley Electric is a leading electrical contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality electrical construction projects across the country. Our teams work on complex and challenging projects while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, innovation, teamwork, and customer service. At Cache Valley Electric, we believe the best way to learn construction is to be part of it. The Project Engineer Internship provides hands-on experience in electrical construction and project management while giving you the opportunity to apply to real-world construction projects. You will work alongside experienced Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams while gaining exposure to the day-to-day operations of active electrical construction projects. Throughout the internship, you will gain an understanding of the complete project lifecycle, including preconstruction, planning, scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, project documentation, field coordination, safety, and project closeout. You will have opportunities to participate in project meetings, review drawings and specifications, assist with RFIs and submittents, track materials and equipment, and support communication between project management and field operations. Our goal is to provide you with meaningful responsibilities and real project experience rather than simply observing from the sidelines. We hope you will be encouraged to ask questions, contribute ideas, solve problems, and develop the technical, leadership, and communication skills necessary to build a successful career in the electrical construction industry.
