The Project Engineer II is a developing structural engineer who has established a foundation in structural analysis and design and is progressing toward greater technical independence. Typically having two to four years of experience, the Project Engineer II works under the direction of Project Executives and Project Managers while performing increasingly complex structural analysis, design, and documentation. At this level, engineers are expected to build upon the fundamental skills developed as a Project Engineer I by expanding their knowledge of structural systems, developing proficiency with Apex's preferred design software, gaining experience with building analysis models, and developing a stronger understanding of construction documents and how structural systems are represented within them.
