The role involves advising on all aspects of project development and finance across the energy, infrastructure, natural resources, and transport sectors. This includes work on project and financing documentation, public-private partnerships, multi-source financings, risk allocation, and regulatory matters. The firm acts for sponsors, lenders, governments, contractors, and investors on greenfield and brownfield projects worldwide, with a focus on projects supporting the energy transition. The role requires collaboration with construction, environmental, tax, regulatory, and disputes practices to provide integrated advice from project development through financing and delivery, managing complexity and delivering projects across multiple jurisdictions. The Houston office is specifically seeking finance-focused attorneys with experience in US project financing of energy and infrastructure projects, Holdco financing of energy and infrastructure projects, and US tax equity financings of energy and energy transition projects. Experience with construction to back-leverage financing and other financing structures involving tax equity/tax credits is a plus.
