About The Position

The Project Coordinator supports end-to-end supply chain initiatives within the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE), with a primary focus on transportation, logistics, operations, and finance. They ensure projects stay on track through effective coordination, communication, documentation, reporting, and issue management across cross-functional teams and initiatives. This role provides day-to-day project support from initiation through implementation and stabilization, helping drive visibility to milestones, risks, and issues while enabling data-driven decisions across DC operations and broader supply chain projects.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to lead cross-functional projects
  • Proven project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, track milestones, and follow through on action items
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional partners
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks and escalating risks appropriately

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt) are a plus but not required for this role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Project Managers on multiple end-to-end supply chain projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
  • Update and maintain project documentation, trackers, and logs to reflect current status, milestones, risks, issues, and action items.
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder check-ins; capture and distribute notes, decisions, and follow-ups.
  • Support testing, rollout coordination, and post-implementation stabilization activities for assigned initiatives.
  • Monitor and track status and milestones for COE process improvement initiatives across the COE team, ensuring timelines and deliverables are clearly understood and updated.
  • Communicate changes, trends, delays, and exceptions related to COE process improvement initiatives to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
  • Maintain reporting documentation including data dictionaries, metric definitions, and user guides to support consistent usage and understanding of reports and dashboards.
  • Partner with the COE team to continuously enhance reporting and dashboard capabilities based on evolving business needs and feedback from end users.
  • Support reporting and status visibility for key initiatives such as transfer lead time reporting, new store rollouts and DC/Hub impact, K&G new store enablement, K&G direct-to-store freight reduction, tuxedo programs (fleet, on-hold, inventory and reservation visibility), DC consolidation efforts, vendor managed inventory, and eCommerce fulfillment optimization.
  • Assist in monitoring PO cycle time delays and out-of-merchandise (OOM) trends, supporting root-cause identification and action tracking to improve service and reduce exceptions.
  • Contribute to successful project delivery and execution (~40% of role focus), reporting and dashboard enablement (~30%), and process improvement and continuous optimization (~30%), as defined by COE performance metrics.
