About The Position

As a Project Coordinator for PCL Industrial Management Inc. in Nisku, Alberta (Ind. Mgmt.), you’ll have the opportunity to assist the Project Manager with the project administrative functions includeing managing subcontracts, interfacing with the engineering design team and field staff to plan, execute, and problem solve. Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in industrial pipe fabrication or construction support (shop preferred).
  • Strong understanding of pipe fabrication processes, drawings, and isometrics.
  • Experience with fabrication scheduling, progress tracking, and cost control.
  • Familiarity with weld documentation, NDE, hydrotest, and turnover requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production-driven environment.
  • Strong communication, detailed focus, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed fabrication schedules aligned with shop capacity and material availability.
  • Create and manage internal work packages for self‑perform pipe fabrication.
  • Plan, track, and report fabrication progress against budget and schedule.
  • Administer shop project documentation, including shop drawings, RFIs, and test packs.
  • Support procurement and expediting to resolve material constraints impacting fabrication.
  • Manage fabrication scope changes, including quantity growth and rework impacts.
  • Assist with cost reporting, progress claims, and monthly project reporting.
  • Coordinate fabrication technical issues with engineering, quality, and shop supervision.
