About The Position

FLINT is hiring a permanent, full-time Project Coordinator based out of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. In this role, you'll provide critical support to Project Managers and cross-functional teams to help ensure the successful execution of industrial projects. You'll be responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking schedules and progress, maintaining project documentation, and facilitating communication among internal teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge of FLHA's, permits, turnover packages, QC documentation, and construction work packages.
  • Understanding of industrial labour agreements, subcontract management, and workforce planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, or equivalent is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of project activities, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Support the Project Manager in day-to-day execution tasks.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, budgets, change logs, and safety documentation.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal and client use.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project plans such as the Safety Management Plan, Quality Plan, and Subcontractor Management Plan.
  • Help monitor contract deliverables and scope changes.
  • Ensure documentation is updated and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking project performance metrics and flagging potential issues to the Project Manager.
  • Support the implementation of project management policies and procedures in collaboration with the project leadership team.
