About The Position

The project coordinator and event manager will directly support the work of the Office of the Dean and the position of Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. The position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities focused on enhancing faculty experience and success. The position involves strategic event planning, including developing RFPs, analyzing venue proposals, and making data-driven recommendations. A key aspect is creating and executing engaging professional development infographics and documentation for faculty processes such as annual reviews, promotions, and awards. Collaboration with department chairs is essential in articulating complex information and creating user-friendly resources. This multifaceted position demands a blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and interpersonal skills to effectively support and enhance the professional lives of faculty members. In addition, the project manager also supports day-to-day operations for the Vice Dean for Operations.
