The Project Coordinator will lead the formation of a stakeholder coalition to identify, develop, and implement actionable strategies to prevent childhood lead poisoning and promote community-level environmental change. This role provides support in developing, implementing, and achieving the goals and objectives of Lead Prevention Grants. The coordinator will build and maintain partnerships with local municipalities, family-serving organizations, businesses, and community stakeholders to advance lead poisoning prevention initiatives. They will conduct community education and awareness efforts through various channels, promote awareness of lead hazards, and advocate for policy development. The role involves planning and coordinating events, collaborating on media campaigns, monitoring grant activities, and maintaining knowledge of relevant research and best practices.
