About The Position

The Project Coordinator provides support and administrative assistance to the Security Integration Scheduling and Project Managers in order to improve the level of service to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with D/A or equivalent organization in relevant operations role
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Valid driver license is required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers.

  • Ability to manage a variety of task simultaneously.
  • Computer literate and Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

  • Performs introductory call to client after a quote has become a project.
  • Creates purchase orders for sub-contractors, tools, lifts, or miscellaneous materials and manage drop off and pick-ups when necessary.
  • Enters sales order data and updates the Installation Schedule.
  • Manages all necessary project documentation including sub-contractor agreements, financial spreadsheets, missed revenue reports, red folders (scope of work, cut sheets, site drawing, and installation manuals if needed), background checks and other tools to define project parameters and to assure project profitability.
  • Assists PM in planning and scheduling engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on projects or service installed jobs.
  • Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and services and controls timely delivery to job site.
  • Maintains construction schedule and coordinates task scheduling with other trades.
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders on project progress, escalating issues as needed to PM.
  • Work with project manager and client to develop a timeline, create schedules and oversee progress to make sure goals and expectations are met.
  • Work with project manager on customer change orders and internal change orders for the project.
  • Put together and send out close out documents and NOC forms.
  • Attend kickoff meeting on large scale projects.
