About The Position

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting project delivery through comprehensive drafting, detailing, communication, and cross-departmental coordination. This role involves preparing accurate erection drawings, reviewing contract drawings, generating RFIs, coordinating with clients and design teams, and managing the ordering of materials. The Project Coordinator also serves as a liaison between the company, contractors, and erectors, collaborates with Project Managers and Engineers to resolve technical concerns, and supports team members during scheduling conflicts. They may also lead Pre-Pour Production meetings and review piece drawings for accuracy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in precast concrete drafting, detailing, or modeling – or related experience in steel or construction industries supporting infrastructure projects involving multiple trades.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience fostering collaboration across departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture/construction management or related field.
  • Certifications include AutoCAD, Revit, or Autodesk platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate erection drawings by reviewing project drawings, including estimates, contracts, drawings, specifications, and addenda, to gain a complete understanding of project scope and requirements.
  • Review contract drawings and generate RFIs to coordinate with the client, Host, and actively participate in Coordination meetings with Design Teams.
  • Compare project progress to the bid estimate and promptly communicate deviations to appropriate team members.
  • Efficiently maintain the ordering of embedded plates and loose materials to ensure timely fabrication and delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company, contractors, and erectors in partnership with Project Management and Engineering teams to ensure engineering-related items are properly coordinated.
  • Coordinate with Plant Management on non‑typical product production requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to resolve casting issues, field challenges, and other technical concerns.
  • Support team members during scheduling conflicts to ensure uninterrupted project workflow and continuity.
  • Lead Pre‑Pour Production meetings when project complexity requires structured coordination.
  • Review and check piece drawings when needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Working and collaborating with the engineers, developing and detailing project components with a focus on reducing overall cost and increasing efficiency for all stakeholders.
