Requirements

2+ years of customer service, dispatch and/or tech support experience
High School Diploma
General basic working knowledge of fire alarm
General basic working knowledge of autocad
Ability to work in NYC office full time
Ability to work and communicate effectively with sales, management, electrical and general contractors

Nice To Haves

Expeditor license a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Complete and delivery of submittal packages which includes, drawings, data sheets, docs for FDNY compliance, etc.
Works within AFA departments, internally, to schedule techs for installs, punch lists items, pre-test inspections, etc.
Processes, tracks and responds to Notices of Defect from FDNY
Schedules FDNY inspections for final sign-offs
Coordinates creation and delivery of as-built drawings
Provides general support for middle managers (service + insp)
