About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Coordinator. This position is hybrid and based on customer needs, the successful candidate should expect frequent, and at times short-notice, on-site requirements at FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC. For this reason, only those located within a 100-mile radius of FAA Headquarters will be considered. T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA NextGen Program, national security programs, and aviation safety. Specifically, work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. An average staff of 500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Requires a working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as some familiarity with industry practices.
  • Also requires good written and oral communication skills, and a familiarity with software packages typically associated with engineering and construction.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing FAA programs or aviation-related software.
  • Projects supporting air traffic management, safety, or surveillance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee project plans, budgets, milestones, and risk management approaches.
  • Coordinate integration, testing, training, and deployment activities.
  • Lead change management and communications to support user adoption.
  • Track progress, resolve issues, and provide status updates to leadership and FAA stakeholders.
