About The Position

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction of Park in a Truck parks. The role combines artistic vision, environmental sensitivity, and technical expertise to create functional, sustainable, and attractive public spaces. The position is temporary and is listed as 20 hours a week. The role includes analyzing sites for environmental factors, land use, and community needs; overseeing cost estimates, construction documents, and bid proposals; and engaging with communities to ensure park designs reflect local needs and culture. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a similar field and two years of park design experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a similar field.
Two years of park design experience.
Knowledge and ability with AutoCAD and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with Jefferson's values.
Conduct site analysis to assess environmental factors, land use, and community needs.
Oversee preparation of cost estimates, construction documents, and bid proposals.
Engage with communities to gather input and ensure park designs reflect local needs and culture.
Plan, design, and oversee construction of Park in a Truck parks.
