About The Position

The Regional Teller performs routine teller duties, including processing customer transactions, identifying basic potential financial needs, and making appropriate referrals to platform staff. The role travels throughout the region 100% of the time. Starting rate is $20.50; actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and market factors, and additional compensation may apply. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Outgoing, with good customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with technical literacy.
Ability to travel throughout the region 100% of the time.
Ability to stand and remain standing for up to five hours at a time without a break.

Responsibilities

Process deposits to customer accounts, verifying cash and endorsements and providing receipts.
Cash checks for customers and non-customers.
Process and properly record sales of monetary instruments, such as official bank checks.
Process foreign currency purchases and sales.
Redeem savings bonds.
Properly file government-mandated reports related to large cash transactions and sales of monetary instruments.
Process various types of loan payments and credit card cash advances.
Assist customers with access to the safe deposit area.
Identify potential financial needs of customers and non-customers and make appropriate referrals to platform staff for follow-up.
