Project Coordinator

Monument Consulting•Richmond, VA

About The Position

Monument is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its Project Management Office. The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in delivering new client implementations and small-scale enhancements for existing clients. The role involves organizing action items, coordinating meetings, taking and sharing notes, following up on assigned tasks, and helping manage project timelines and plans. The Coordinator supports tactical implementation work and administrative project needs while staying familiar with all aspects of the project and helping meet day-to-day implementation requirements. Implementation projects conclude with the successful transition of the customer to Monument’s Account Management team. Implementation workstreams typically include developing policies and procedures with the account management team; establishing workflows and approval chains; developing and executing client and staffing supplier contracts; supplier onboarding; gathering requirements for VMS configuration, account management program development, and integrations; configuring the VMS; collecting, validating, and loading data into the VMS; developing and executing a change management plan; and setting up client invoicing and payment processes among the client, Monument, and suppliers. The Coordinator directly assists with some deliverables and relies on subject matter experts for others. The role may also lead lower-complexity change requests or strategic initiatives to strengthen project management skills.
