The Project Coordinator will report to the Director, Business Diversification, Insight Health Solutions, and will support the business development team in new business initiatives, program build, and project execution. This role involves coordinating program deliverables, business analysis, and metrics to drive business diversification efforts provincially and nationally.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, ideally in business, life sciences, health informatics or related discipline required
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare work experience in a coordination capacity required, preferably in the private healthcare sector, required.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative, coordinator and/or project management/coordination experience.
  • Excellent project management/coordination skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal leaders and teams as well as external customers.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships across diverse groups, internal and external to THP.
  • Comfortable working in high pressure, fast-paced environment with competing tasks and priorities.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, self-direction and ability to multitask, and ability to prioritize work.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills to interpret information and identify areas that require further investigation.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to meet timelines and accomplish goals.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

Responsibilities

  • Support and collaborate with the broader business development team in the identification of new business opportunities and the development of new clinical programs, including performing market analyses and data gathering, organizing and leading Needs Assessments, creating decks for business presentations, tracking business activities, working with clinical SMEs, and participating in campaign follow-ups.
  • Manage RFP response efforts, including mining RFP platforms for opportunities, participating in response coordination and content, overseeing team responses, gathering internal information, and developing relationships with customer procurement representatives.
  • Prepare communications, briefings, presentations, and reports, including ensuring the creation and delivery of monthly new business scorecards with preliminary analysis, and supporting external communications with the Marketing team.
  • Assist with new program builds by working with assigned Project Managers to enable Project Planning, Scope & Requirements, including gathering and documenting requirements, identifying tasks and dependencies, building project timelines, assigning responsibilities, estimating resources and costs, creating financial projections and budgets, identifying risks, setting up project management tools, creating project repositories, and setting up communication channels.
  • Participate in conference and networking events as an ambassador for THP, ensuring the provision of marketing collateral and booth materials, and overseeing the database of contacts and follow-up activities.
