You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure all project components are aligned and executed according to the project schedule, scope, and budget. Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, specifically within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in using project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar), as well as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance for construction projects

Nice To Haves

  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of large scale construction projects, including earthworks, road construction, utilities, and drainage systems
  • Work closely with project managers to monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Manage communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of project tasks
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, technical documents, and specifications to ensure all work complies with project requirements
  • Prepare and track progress reports, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation
  • Ensure that all work activities are completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Perform site visits to monitor progress, verify work quality, and resolve any issues on-site
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including material and equipment tracking
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Provide support to project teams by facilitating meetings, ensuring proper documentation, and tracking project milestones
