About The Position

The Will Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects. As part of The Will Group, with nearly four decades of experience serving the construction and utility industries, we focus on collaboration, technical expertise, and delivering meaningful, results-driven solutions. In this role, you will work alongside Project Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to keep projects organized, on track, and moving forward. You will play a central role in coordinating activities, managing project data, and ensuring effective communication between teams and stakeholders. This role is based out of our Shorewood, IL or Wheaton, IL office and follows a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, construction, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear and effective communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
Experience with project tracking systems or ERP tools is a plus
Exposure to engineering or construction environments is preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate project activities, schedules, and deliverables across multiple projects
Support project planning, execution, and tracking to ensure alignment with scope and timelines
Maintain organized documentation and accurate project data
Generate reports and monitor project performance, identifying risks or delays
Facilitate communication between engineering teams, operations, and clients
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
