Through our applied research and integrated learning, we are proud to be Canada’s Smart Agriculture College, specializing in agriculture, agrifood, horticulture, land and environmental stewardship. We work closely with industry to advance and adapt our programming to ensure our graduates have the skills to succeed. The Project Coordinator is a full-time dedicated resource integral to the Alberta College and Polytechnic Applied Research Network (ARN) Project at Olds College. This position is central to the 12-month pilot initiative focused on developing a collaborative operating model for applied research and network development. The ARN Project aims to establish a cohesive, province-wide ecosystem that effectively connects industry, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with Alberta’s leading polytechnics and colleges. The Project Coordinator will work across five partner institutions—Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP), Northwestern Polytechnic (NWP), and Olds College of Agriculture and Technology —to drive innovation, economic growth, and industry collaboration. The role's primary focus is to act as the hub of information sharing and activities across the network, emphasizing the development and execution of collaborative projects using managing shared resources as well as developing and managing joint meetings for training, networking and institutional knowledge sharing.
