About The Position

Reporting to the Project Management Team Lead, the Project Coordinator is responsible for project coordination services. This role supports organizational projects from initiation through closure. The role adapts delivery approaches based on project needs, incorporating Agile principles and practices where appropriate. The Project Coordinator applies a broad and flexible toolkit of project management practices and skills coordinating interdependent activities into documented, monitored, and controlled tasks. The Project Coordinator utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. By using project management skills, the Project Coordinator contributes to organizational success through effective project delivery focused on managing risk and advancing strategy. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a primary corporate office in Cambridge and access to a satellite office in Toronto.

Requirements

  • You have a minimum of a three-year college diploma.
  • You have a minimum of three years of relevant experience preferably in an insurance, financial, or corporate environment.
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to work with deadlines and adapt to ever-changing priorities.
  • You are self driven, able to move tasks and projects forward independently and with personal accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support end‑to-end project delivery by contributing to projects from initiation through closure, applying established project delivery approaches and adapting them appropriately to the project’s context, constraints, and level of complexity.
  • Demonstrate strong project coordination and organization skills by planning and maintaining project timelines, tracking tasks, dependencies, costs and milestones, and keeping core project information accurate and up to date.
  • Apply practical problem‑solving and issue management skills to resolve routine scheduling, coordination, and dependency issues, monitor risks and delivery impacts, and escalate or seek guidance when matters fall outside your authority.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively by sharing project status, changes, and expectations with a variety of interested and impacted parties, and by building positive, productive working relationships across teams, partners, and vendors.
  • Bring a collaborative mindset and service orientation by working effectively with others, supporting team engagement, contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned, and delivering customer‑focused service to internal and external partners.
