About The Position

Connection is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team. This role involves guiding the connection between people and technology, helping customers manage inventory, equip their workforce, or secure their data. The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of a Supervisor, performing departmental project management activities. Duties include collecting project plan updates, maintaining project documentation, and preparing status reports. The position may also involve assisting project managers with scheduling deliverables and establishing reporting standards. This role also ensures departmental processes comply with Sarbanes-Oxley controls where applicable.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with ability to create reports and training documentation using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the project coordination process with ability to document procedures.
  • Organized with ability to multitask with competing priorities and deadlines, while keeping stress level at a minimum.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to ask difficult questions that are critical to project success, and question answers provided by production resources.
  • Detail oriented with ability to drill down several layers to get the core issues.
  • Flexible in adapting to changing conditions and priorities.
  • Reliability, honesty and integrity with ability to consistently present Connection in a positive professional manner to our customers.
  • Good reasoning and comprehension skills with the ability to understand and follow directions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates tasks and provides professional administrative support to one or more project teams.
  • Collects project plan updates, maintains or modifies project plan documentation.
  • Prepares/distributes project status reports.
  • As assigned, assists Project Manager in identification and scheduling of project deliverables, milestones and required tasks, and/or establishing standards for project reporting and documentation.
  • Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.
