About The Position

As a member of our Environmental and Assessment Services Team, you’ll provide project coordination, general administrative and report writing support, with a primary focus on assisting projects related to Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and Property Condition Assessment (PCA) reports. You’ll also help support our environmental and PCA teams through coordination and organization of our contractor network, along with assistance in data collection and report preparation. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, clear and professional communication skills, and excellent organizational and problem solving abilities. You will gain hands on experience across the commercial real estate due diligence process and work directly with senior professionals who are invested in developing you. This role is a strong entry point into environmental consulting and CRE due diligence. This is a hybrid position based in our Rock Hill, SC office, with three days a week onsite once you are fully ramped up. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, architecture, construction management, engineering, mathematics, chemistry, biology, or a related physical science
  • 1+ years of experience, including internships, applying your degree in a professional setting. New graduates with relevant internship or co op experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects against deadlines
  • A great work ethic (self starter) who is not afraid to jump in, learn the business, and make an impact
  • The ability to communicate clearly with team members and external contractors, both verbally and in writing, including technical writing
  • The ability to adapt to updates in technology and process
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite software, such as Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • The willingness to dive in and learn new platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing environmental and property condition reports, primarily Phase II and PCA deliverables. This includes compiling data, updating report content, and helping ensure consistency and accuracy across work products.
  • Help organize, maintain, and track information related to our contractor network, including contact details, field specialties, and geographic service areas. Also assist with contractor coordination and help facilitate communication between project managers and field contractors.
  • Answer internal questions, identify issues, and support the resolution of report or task related challenges.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of records, files, and work products.
  • Gain exposure to a range of CRE environmental due diligence activities, with an emphasis on Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and PCAs, along with opportunities to assist with other due diligence report types, including ESAs, TSAs, RSRAs, and related deliverables.
  • Work side by side with senior team members who are experts in CRE due diligence. Through mentorship and collaboration, deepen understanding of environmental processes, tools, and the business landscape that drives them.
  • As availability allows, assist with other CRE due diligence tasks and limited field related support to better understand how field work connects to reporting and risk evaluation.
