The Team is looking for a Project Coordinator, Co-op to support that mission for duration of 12 months. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Co-op will assist with coordination and administrative tasks for underground utility construction projects. This role is ideal for a student seeking hands-on experience in project coordination, construction management, or engineering.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a technical diploma or engineering degree program (Civil, Electrical, Construction, or related field)
  • Interest in the civil or electrical utility sector
  • Understanding of basic project coordination concepts such as scheduling, documentation control, and change management
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Comfortable working in both office and field/site environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Hard Dollar or SAP is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination and on-site activities
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in setting up project folders, templates, and required documentation during project start-up
  • Maintain project files and records on shared servers and document control systems
  • Track, log, and manage project documentation, including RFIs, reports, and general correspondence
  • Support preparation and tracking of change notices and change orders
  • Ensure drawing and report folders are current and distribute updated information as needed
  • Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and utility owners
  • Schedule, attend, and take minutes for project meetings and conference calls
  • Track and summarize site hours worked in alignment with project reporting requirements
  • Assist with cost tracking, job costing, and monthly reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safe work practices
