About The Position

The Project Coordinator 2 supports project managers and teams in planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative support role, preferably within the construction, engineering, or utility industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Asana) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Track project progress, identify potential issues, and facilitate resolution with project teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Manage and organize project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports related to project activities.
  • Communicate project updates and status to stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Support the onboarding of new project team members and assist with training coordination.
  • Utilize project management software and tools to maintain accurate project data.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for project management processes.
  • Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned to ensure project success.
