About The Position

The Project Change Administrator is responsible for the administration, tracking, pricing support, and documentation of Extra Work Tickets (EWTs) across multiple construction projects. This position serves as the central point of coordination between field operations, Project Engineers, Project Managers, Estimating, and Accounting to ensure all extra work is documented accurately, entered into NiceTouch, priced timely, and tracked through resolution. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of construction administration experience.
  • Experience with heavy civil construction preferred.
  • Knowledge of Extra Work Tickets, Force Account work, Time and Material documentation, and Change Orders.
  • Experience with NiceTouch or similar construction management software.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Extra Work Ticket (EWT) process for multiple active projects.
  • Review Extra Work Tickets for completeness and required supporting documentation.
  • Track the status of all Extra Work Tickets from issuance through pricing, owner approval, and change order execution.
  • Enter labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor rates into NiceTouch.
  • Maintain current contract rates within NiceTouch.
  • Prepare pricing worksheets using contract rates and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with Project Engineers and Project Managers to obtain missing documentation, quantities, equipment logs, force account records, and supporting information.
  • Monitor aging reports to ensure Extra Work Tickets are processed promptly.
  • Maintain an organized log of pending, approved, rejected, and completed Extra Work Tickets.
  • Identify risks that could delay recovery of project costs and communicate them to project management.
  • Support reconciliation meetings by providing status updates and documentation for outstanding Extra Work Tickets.
  • Maintain electronic project files and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
  • Develop and maintain standardized tracking logs and reporting for management.
