The Project Assistant supports pre-construction, field, and office operations for masonry restoration and waterproofing projects. This role is responsible for managing pre-construction documentation, documenting site conditions, assisting with report and shop drawing preparation, and compiling accurate data for project tracking and change orders. The position works closely with Project Managers, Office Project Assistants, and field crews to develop clear jobsite mark-ups, track labor allocations, and ensure all documentation is organized, labeled, and up to date. The Project Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining project accuracy, supporting cost tracking using pre-determined unit pricing, and facilitating communication between the jobsite and the office. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret drawings and project information, proficiency in required software, and the ability to navigate active construction environments. Must have a background in construction and historic masonry preservation.
