About The Position

This position will be based out of IMC Construction's Woodbridge, NJ office. The Project Assistant will support the project team with various administrative and organizational tasks to ensure smooth project execution. This role involves managing project documentation, facilitating communication, and assisting with various project phases from preconstruction to closeout.

Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task, often switching between tasks as needed or requested by project team(s).

Responsibilities

  • Compose, edit, log, and distribute letters, memos, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Log, maintain, and distribute drawings, specifications, and all construction-related documents.
  • Order hard copy prints/materials for field staff as needed.
  • Edit, proof, distribute, track, log, and file Letters of Intent, Subcontract Agreements, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Owner Change Orders.
  • Assemble, edit, proof, distribute, track, and file CCDS, Owner Reports, and Invoices.
  • Edit, proof, distribute, and file all project-related meeting minutes, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Facilitate, manage, organize, and request the closeout and punch-list process with the assistance of project team members.
  • Assist the receptionist with phone coverage as needed; process incoming mail and any other duties as necessary or assigned.
  • Assist Preconstruction/Estimating Department with Prequalification & CCIP verification for both Enrolled and Excluded Subcontractors.
  • Assist CM, PM, APM, and Superintendent with all documentation, communication, and organization of Construction project(s).
  • Assist Owners, Design Team, and Subcontractors with project needs.
  • Other assignments as required by Project Team and Office Staff.
