About The Position

BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join our growing team and work in central Minnesota. Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN. BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction. The Project Administrator provides administrative and project support throughout the construction project lifecycle. This role assists Project Managers with project setup, subcontract administration, submittments, billing, compliance, and closeout activities while maintaining accurate project documentation and records. Through strong organization and attention to detail, the Project Administrator helps ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in accordance with company and contract requirements.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn and utilize construction management software
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and scanners.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project set up across company systems, maintain project documentation, support bidding activities
  • Assist with project start up requirements including submittals, permits, compliance documentation, and project meetings
  • Manage project records, plans, specifications, addenda, submittal logs, and project documentation within company software platforms to ensure accurate and organized project information
  • Prepare, distribute and track subcontract agreements and related documentation.
  • Monitor insurance requirements, compliance documentation and prevailing wage requirements
  • Process subcontractors pay applications, support client billings, maintain billing records, assist with contractual requirements
  • Manage project closeout activities including collection and review of warranties, operations and maintenance manuals, lien waivers and final closeout packages for project completion
  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers and project teams
