The Project Accounting Coordinator role involves preparing fee proposal templates, drafting contracts, and subcontracts for review. This position ensures projects adhere to contract language and requirements, issues and tracks project amendment documentation, and coordinates for review. The role also includes developing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Project Authorization forms, encompassing budgets and client invoicing requirements. Assisting project managers with processing subconsultant invoices through the project accounting system is a key responsibility. The coordinator will monitor project financials, including variance, revenue, budgets, and Work-In-Progress (WIP), and will be responsible for follow-up on revenue variance issues and revenue recovery. This role serves as a liaison between internal staff, suppliers, and clients, effectively communicating on behalf of Project Managers. Conducting pre-bill reviews with Project Managers, participating in monthly project review meetings, and collaborating with Business Operations teams are essential. Additionally, the coordinator will assist Business Operations with the analysis of project budget performance and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
