About The Position

Turner Industries is a fully diversified industrial contractor that provides responsive, innovative solutions to increase plant production, reduce costs, and prevent shutdowns in the petrochemical, refining, energy, and pulp and paper industries. The Project Accountant position is responsible for assisting Project Accountants and Project Accounting Management to ensure accurate, efficient, and professional invoicing on each project. This is a non-exempt role that takes daily direction from a Project Accounting Team Lead, with assigned duties performed according to specific procedures and frequent checking of work.

Extensive technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, ReportsNow, etc.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Accountants in preparing and submitting detailed and accurate invoices of reimbursable costs for maintenance and construction projects to clients.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments, field personnel, and client representatives to compile invoicing information and resolve issues.
Work collaboratively with other Project Accountants and provide assistance when a coworker's workload necessitates.
Undertake special projects such as client audits and system conversions as directed by Project Accountants and Project Accounting Management.
Assist Project Accountants in preparing detailed and accurate month-end accruals.
Research, report, and explain billing transactions to Accounting Management.
