About The Position

The Associate Project Accountant position assists Project Accountants and Project Accounting Management to ensure invoicing on each project is handled in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner. This non-exempt role takes daily direction from a Project Accounting Team Lead, with assigned duties according to specific procedures and frequent work checks.

Extensive technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, ReportsNow, etc.
Must pass a post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Accountants in preparing and submitting detailed and accurate invoices for reimbursable costs associated with maintenance and construction projects to clients.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments, field personnel, and client representatives to compile invoicing information and resolve issues.
Work collaboratively with other Project Accountants and offer assistance when a co-worker's workload necessitates.
Undertake special projects such as client audits or system conversions during free time, as directed by Project Accountants and Project Accounting Management.
Assist Project Accountants in preparing detailed and accurate month-end accruals when necessary.
Efficiently research, report, and explain billing transactions to Accounting Management.
Perform additional assignments as directed by a supervisor.
