About The Position

Plans, monitors, and leads the execution of internal programs from initiation through completion, with full accountability for technical, schedule and financial performance. Leads or coordinates programs, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and indirect people management on cross-functional teams spanning engineering, finance, contracts, operations and supply chain to achieve program objectives. Monitors program metrics and provides regular updates to internal and external customers to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance; suggests and implements course corrections when required to achieve program objectives. This position may require International Travel. This position can be located in Vermont or Saco, Maine.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Plans, monitors, and leads the execution of internal programs from initiation through completion, with full accountability for technical, schedule and financial performance.
  • Leads or coordinates programs, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and indirect people management on cross-functional teams spanning engineering, finance, contracts, operations and supply chain to achieve program objectives.
  • Monitors program metrics and provides regular updates to internal and external customers to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance; suggests and implements course corrections when required to achieve program objectives.
  • Has P&L responsibilities for specific program(s).
  • Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance.
  • Liaise with functional departments throughout the organization and tracks utilization to ensure milestones are completed on time or in accordance with established standards.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.
  • Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.
  • Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.
  • Actively grows programs through follow‑on work with existing customers and support for new opportunities.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with government, military, prime contractors, and international customers.
  • Identifies, assesses, and manages technical, financial, and schedule risks while tracking performance, forecasting, and regularly reporting metrics to stakeholders.
