This role focuses on Behavioral Health, specifically Outpatient Mental Health Programming which helps individuals build life skills and well-being through behavioral health counseling, psychiatric care, and other care coordination and support services. It also involves the Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS) program, which helps young people involved with the DCFS system build stability and reduce the number of foster placements and moves through mental health services. Additionally, the Mental Health Juvenile Justice (121) program functions as a point of contact between the Illinois Juvenile Justice System, probation, schools, and the community, helping to build collaborative relationships to identify and obtain referrals of youth with or at risk for mental health concerns in Union County.
