About The Position

Provides clerical assistance to the administrative and teaching staff in assigned program/initiative. This role involves supporting program processes, documentation, and data management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.
  • One (1) year office, clerical, secretarial and/or computer experience required.
  • Judgment, initiative, inter-personal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (e.g. Video/Web Conferencing, Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assists with program/initiative process documentation including parent/staff notification, meeting minutes and follow-up to meetings.
  • Tracks timeline for referrals, evaluations/re-evaluations, and annual reviews.
  • Completes billing forms and other forms.
  • Sorts, organizes, delivers, and processes all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Collects, prepares, maintains, organizes, and disseminates appropriate files, documents and information for all meetings, and programs/initiatives in an orderly manner.
  • Makes copies of all documents for parents, teachers, and staff members included in student case.
  • Enters, updates, and maintains data in database, generates and distributes reports, and uses software to prepare documents.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.
