Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field or relevant equivalent experience in the field.
0 to 2 years of experience in S/W Lifecycle Mgmt which includes the end-to-end management of a software application from initial conception and planning through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
Linux/Unix commands and scripting, PowerShell
Troubleshooting / Bug Hunting
Curiosity / Willingness to learn
SQL (Oracle a plus; Informix would be beneficial)
Proficient in OOPS programming languages like Java, C#, Python
Due to company’s involvement in government related products, only Citizens are eligible for the position
Collaboration tool: SharePoint, GitHub.
Strong Programming and troubleshooting skills
Good Communicator
Writing and Maintaining Technical Documentation
Ability to work in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Development and Maintenance of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and the Real Time Dispatch (RTD) application
Migration of existing Legacy application to a more modern platform using Python, Java, C#
Use Copilot to speed up the migration of legacy applications to a more modern platform
Test, Validate and Deploy code into the production environment
Creating, maintaining, and automating documentation (technical specs, process maps, user guides).
Troubleshoot and Resolve problems in a time sensitive environment, by Navigating through the Linux and Unix Scripts.
Collaborate with the Team members to come up with solutions to improve the efficiency of the system and business processes
Meet and collaborate with business for obtaining requirements
Work Self-reliantly in a challenging environment
Provide after-hour support based on a rotating on-call calendar
