Programmatic Media Strategist

DelveDenver, CO
1d$100,000 - $120,000Hybrid

About The Position

At Delve Deeper, we are a performance media agency specializing in the charity and nonprofit sector, partnering with organizations that invest $5M to $20M annually in media. We help mission-driven teams maximize their impact through advanced digital strategies designed to deliver measurable, scalable results. Our capabilities span advanced reporting and analytics, intent-based audience segmentation, full-service digital media management, and personalized creative—giving our partners a comprehensive, data-driven approach to growth. At Delve Deeper, we’re not a typical vendor. We act as a strategic partner, working alongside organizations to solve complex media challenges and translate them into clear, measurable outcomes. Backed by a leadership team with decades of hands-on experience, Delve Deeper is recognized as a trusted voice within the charity community. Delve Deeper has also been recognized as Built In Colorado’s “Best Places to Work” for five consecutive years, reflecting a culture that prioritizes both performance and people. We emphasize professional development in an environment where every team member can make a meaningful impact. We’re deeply committed to supporting our team through self-care, family, community, and career growth. As a privately owned company, we move quickly—free from red tape—and create clear paths for advancement for those driven to succeed. We’re looking for a Programmatic Media Strategist who’s curious, analytical, and excited to dig into the “why” behind performance. You don’t just take platform results at face value—you like getting into the data to understand what’s really working. You’re comfortable in Excel, enjoy building models, and take pride in uncovering insights that help drive better decisions. This role is focused on execution and analysis rather than client management. You’ll spend your time in the platforms and in the data—testing, learning, and continuously improving performance using a Stop / Scale / Start mindset. You’re someone who enjoys solving problems, paying attention to details, and finding smarter ways to optimize. You see algorithms as tools to guide—not something to rely on blindly. If you’re motivated by learning, improving, and making a measurable impact, you’ll feel right at home here.

Requirements

  • A strong analytical mindset and a natural comfort working in data—you genuinely enjoy digging into numbers to find answers
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested formulas, and working with large, messy datasets
  • A healthy skepticism—you question results that seem too good and take the time to understand what’s really happening
  • A high level of attention to detail, with a habit of double-checking your work and catching small errors before they become big ones
  • A builder’s mindset—you enjoy getting hands-on in the data and solving complex problems more than presenting or talking about them
  • Curiosity and persistence—you’re motivated to keep digging until something truly makes sense

Responsibilities

  • Take an active role in managing campaigns—stepping in where automation falls short and guiding platform algorithms with clear guardrails
  • Execute daily optimizations using a Stop / Scale / Start mindset to improve performance and drive better results
  • Build and run structured tests across creative and audience segments to understand what truly resonates and drives action
  • Work deeply in the data—exporting, analyzing, and connecting platform data with CRM sources (e.g., Salesforce, Fuse) to understand real performance
  • Use Excel to build models that uncover key metrics like donor retention, pLTV, and overall funnel health
  • Monitor budgets closely to ensure efficient spend and avoid waste, while still hitting growth targets
  • Look beyond surface-level metrics to identify what’s actually driving meaningful outcomes (not just cheap conversions)
  • Investigate performance changes, identify root causes, and clearly explain what’s happening and why
  • Partner closely with the Strategist by providing clear, concise insights that help guide decisions and client communication

Benefits

  • Health Benefits: Comprehensive (100% company-paid) health coverage for employees & their families, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. We also offer FSA and HSA health options with a company contribution.
  • Other Benefits: Life Insurance and Disability Coverage
  • Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with a 4% match/company contribution
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Generous vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays
  • Parental Leave: Up to 3 months of paid time off for new parents
  • Wellness Program: $1,250 annual reimbursement for health and well-being (gym membership, ski passes, meal plans, fitness equipment, etc.)
  • Beautiful Office & Workspace: Newly built and designed office exclusively for Delve Deeper with local restaurants, shopping, and hiking/biking trails. Large common areas filled with snacks, beverages, and regularly catered meals!
  • Hybrid Working Model: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in-office with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays
