The Program Support Outreach Specialist works with management and staff, as well as outside agencies, to provide outreach and coordinate the integration of service components within the Early Childhood Education (ECE) department. This role serves as a welcoming first point of contact for families, community members, and partner organizations, responding to inquiries, providing information about ACAP programs and services, and connecting individuals to needed resources. The specialist supports families through the enrollment process for Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs. They also build trusting relationships with children, families, and community stakeholders to promote access to high-quality early childhood services and support positive outcomes for families. Additionally, the role involves conducting outreach and community education efforts to increase awareness of ACAP's early childhood programs through various channels, representing ACAP at community events, and assisting in the planning and implementation of outreach initiatives. A key part of the role is researching and maintaining collaborative relationships with community organizations, schools, and local service agencies to strengthen referral networks. The specialist stays informed about community resources and effectively shares this information to help remove barriers and increase access to essential services, fostering an inclusive, family-centered approach.
