About The Position

Berklee’s Office of Summer Programs will be offering 15+ short-term programs this year in the areas of music, theater, and dance and will be welcoming 1,500+ students to campus over the course of June, July, and August. The Program Support Assistant provides operational and administrative support for Summer Programs. With more than 900 positions ranging from 10 to 15 hours of work per week, as well as daily opportunities for project-based temporary employment, student employment is a great opportunity for professional and educational growth.

Requirements

• Must be punctual and reliable with a friendly and upbeat attitude. Lateness will not be tolerated.
• Experience working with customer service, especially face-to-face.
• Familiarity with Berklee campus and key buildings and offices.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be available for in-person work at the Boston campus during the summer months.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service when interacting with program participants and families; may involve greeting participants and families, answering questions, directing traffic, and otherwise acting as a resource for participants
• Provide on-the-ground support for program directors as needed, including classroom assistance, monitoring jam sessions and other program activities
• Run errands on-campus as needed
• May include general office support, including printing, organizing, and distributing student schedules and written music to be used as teaching materials
