About The Position

The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a compassionate leader to serve as a Program Supervisor for their Congregate Care Network (CCN) programs. These programs offer a highly structured residential environment for youth referred by the Department of Children and Families who have significant emotional, behavioral, medical, cognitive, and mental health needs. The Program Supervisor will work closely with the Program Manager to oversee a group home, fostering open communication, support, and accountability among staff. The goal is to ensure youth receive the necessary therapeutic, emotional, and educational support to build healthy relationships and transition successfully into real-world settings.

Requirements

Proven experience working with youth and families, specifically within community child welfare and mental health programming.
A valid driver's license and a legally registered, insured vehicle for work use are required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution is preferred (relevant experience can be substituted for a degree).
Minimum of 3 years of residential and/or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Program Manager with the daily operations and overall functioning of the group home to effectively meet the needs of the youth and their families.
Supervise, train, and guide program staff.
Ensure program policies and procedures are followed while promoting the professional growth and development of your team.
Work collaboratively with clinical providers, families, schools, and community partners to promote safety, stability, and successful treatment outcomes.
Act with a high level of accountability and assume the full roles and responsibilities of the Program Manager in their absence.
